I can't believe Mum's visit is almost over. Two more days and she'll be headed back home. Baz is missing her terribly, and I know it will likely be a full year before I see them again. It is hard living so far away.
It's been a good visit though. We haven't really done much exciting, but it has been some quality time and conversations. And of course it's so special that she's making my birthday cake! I have been craving a Tres Leches cake, so that's what she's tackling. :) Thirty-nine is not such a daunting number, but I will start thinking of myself as forty in preparation for next year!
